Transportation from Copenhagen Airport to hotel :

If you come in by airplane to CPH (Copenhagen Airport) the train terminal is located just below the airport and very easy to get to both with and without bowlingballs.

Around 100 meters from leaving the luggage area you can take an elevator one floor down and take a train direct to Odense.

There will be a few stops on the way and travel time by train is around 1 ½ hour, if you take the standard IC (InterCity Train).
If you take the IC Lyntog then there will only be one stop (Copenhagen Main Central) before you arrive in Odense.

If you come in by airplane to Billund airport you need a rental car when going to Odense.
Public transport by busses is also possible, but this method is though complicated due to changes on the way, so we recommend renting a car.

Transportation from train station to hotel:

The train station in Odense is within walking distance from all 5 hotels, 400 meters. If You come in by train, please let us know when you arrive and we will arrange pickup of bowling balls from train station to bowling center. Same service will be available when you leave after the championship.

Transportation to and from the bowling centre:

From all 5 hotels, which are within 500m from each other, there are 2 light rail stops which are in walking distance, only 3-400m. When getting of the train there is another 300m walk to the bowling center.

In all hotels rooms there will be a little “welcome basket” with all necessary information. Furthermore, there will be a local volunteer taking you back and forth the first time you use the light rail to make sure you will be comfortable with using this transportation form. The official championship tag will be your ticket for using the light rail.
